Ob/Gyn & RS Advocacy Strategy Committee
Interested in learning how to use your expertise in obstetrics and gynecology to change policy and practice? Are you an advocacy expert Who wants to share your skills with colleagues? Everyone, including faculty, staff, residents, fellows, post-docs, and professional researchers, is welcome to join the committee which meets virtually monthly. Upcoming activities include:
- Developing an advocacy curriculum for residents
- Advocating for staff and faculty to have advocacy work count toward promotion and be considered part of their usual work
- Formalizing advocacy mentorship opportunities
- Creating a mini-grant program
- Developing connections with folks focused on advocacy in other UCSF schools and departments
