The PCPCER team recruits and coordinates studies working with UCSF’s pregnant population. These patients are seen at Mission Bay Hospital in both in our Outpatient Clinics and on Labor & Delivery. Recruitment is performed at all stages of pregnancy and many UCSF patients are eager to contribute to the growing body of pregnancy research. The PCPCER research team supports a variety of research, including qualitative studies, biospecimen collections, and clinical trials. The PCPCER research coordinators have a wide array of research expertise as well as fantastic patient rapport.
There are many opportunities for recruitment of UCSF patients with benign gynecologic conditions, both in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Common study types include surveys with patient reported outcomes, biologic specimen collection, and focus groups for qualitative research.
